Ria and Bill are two of the most incredible people I've ever met. We spent the day photographing Ria, her family, and the prep for her big birthday bash in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Their welcoming personalities and generosity made me feel as if I was immediately a part of the family. Really, she even made me a special cup of hot chocolate... does it get any better than that?! What I love most is how in love Ria and Bill are; they pursue love and selflessness and that's such a treat to be around because it's contagious. They were just wonderful.

If you've never heard Brooke Fraser, drop everything you're doing and visit iTunes. She's, by far, one of the most incredible musicians I've heard in quite a long time. She hails from New Zealand and has toured with a large band from Australia, which is what gained her a lot of momentum. This particular song is one of my recent favorites; the footage is from her first U.S. tour for her solo album... and it is so, so good!

This weekend, I had the most beautiful time visiting one of my dearest friends, Ingrid, seeing old friends, meeting new friends, and exploring a new city. The weather could not have been more perfect! I admit, Gainesville had never seemed exciting to me but I was proven very wrong - the city has a really romantic, vintage feel to it... and the kicker! The leaves ACTUALLY change colors! This is a big deal for a girl born and raised in southern Florida!
